Airfreight Co-Ordinator 22k
Main duties for this Airfreight Co-Ordinator in Middlesex will include: Address all action points from meetings with the appropriate timescales; Communicate any areas of concern in relation to operational, training, quality and personnel concerns to the Global Business Unit Manager; Ensure monthly charges are uploaded on the job register; Ensure all existing customers and potential new customers are fully aware of the Business Unit and the Company’s service offer; Develop new business leads and ideas, and report these to the Global Business Unit Manager; Ensure customer satisfaction through managing their shipments in the correct way and in accordance to the timeframes specified by the customer; Advise customers, where necessary, on customs procedures and their applications; Identifying issues with current operating practice, and suggesting ways to improve operating performance; Able to cross train with other colleagues to learn about other jobs; Actively seek opportunities for internal and external training and development; etc, etc,.
The applicant should have airfreight experience about 6 months to a year. Other skills which are required are: Multi-lingual with a European language; Knowledge of road, sea and air modes of transport; Knowledge of customs procedures; Knowledge of exit country documentation requirements; Knowledge of import country documentation requirements; Excel Package.
