This exciting opportunity for a Receptionist has become available within this dynamic marketing agency located in central Soho, reporting into the Office Manager. The successful candidate will have experience in this type of position with a proven track-record; having built trust and confidence with former employees. Duties will include: - Answer all incoming calls and transfer the call or if necessary take messages / help callers - Ensure calls and the reception desk are covered by the Office Manager when you are not at your desk or are out of the office - Pick up, open and distribute post every morning - Open all incoming post and frank or stamp all outgoing post - Book meeting rooms for staff and log in Outlook - Prepare meeting rooms (tea, coffee etc) and clear rooms after meetings - Organise catering for client meetings - Organise travel arrangements for directors - Ensure office is kept tidy (especially 4th floor) - Order taxis, bikes and overnight couriers as required and ensure all are logged on spreadsheets - Fill in for the Office Manager when this person is on leave/sick - Water and maintain the office plants (indoor & outdoor) - Additional office and finance duties as and when requested To be successful in this role you must be: - Good at organizing & have attention to detail - Responsive, pro-active and aware - A good communicator - Enthusiastic and passionate - Professional and trustworthy - Motivated and dedicated You will often be the first point of contact for the company so your appearance, politeness and general attitude is paramount.
